DAN GUN is named after the holy Dan-Gun, legendary founder of Korea in the year of 2,333 B.C.
Ready posture: Parallel Ready Stance
1. Move the left foot to B, forming a right L-stance while performing a middle knife-hand guarding block (see photo above)
2. Move the right foot forward to B, forming a right walking stance toward B while executing a right high punch.
3. Move the right foot clockwise to A, forming a left L-stance while performing a middle knife-hand guarding block.
4. Move the left foot to A, forming a left walking stance while executing a left high punch.
5. Move the left foot counter-clockwise to D, forming a left walking stance while executing a left low outer forearm block.
6. Move the right foot forward to D, forming a right walking stance while executing a right high punch.
7. Move the left foot forward to D, forming a left walking stance while executing a left high punch.
8. Move the right foot forward to D, forming a right walking stance while executing a right high punch.
9. Move the left foot counter-clockwise to E, forming a right L-stance and executing a twin outer forearm block.
10. Move the right foot forward to E, forming a right walking stance while executing a right high punch.
11. Move the right foot, clockwise, to F, forming a left L-stance and executing a twin outer forearm block (see photo above).
12. Move the left foot forward to F, forming a left walking stance while executing a left high punch.
13. Move the left foot counter-clockwise to C, forming a left walking stance while executing a left low outer forearm block.
14. Execute a high rising block with the left outer forearm, maintaining the same stance (perform #13 and #14 in combination).
15. Move the right foot forward to C, forming a right walking stance while executing a right high outer forearm rising block.
16. Move the left foot forward to C, forming a left walking stance while executing a left high outer forearm rising block.
17. Move the right foot to forward to C, forming a right walking stance while executing a right high outer forearm rising block.
18. Move the left foot counter-clockwise to B, forming a right "L" stance while executing a left knifehand side strike (see photo above).
19. Move the right foot forward to B, forming a right walking stance while executing a right high punch.
20. Move the right foot clockwise to A, forming a left "L" stance while executing a right knifehand side strike.
21. Move the left foot forward to A, forming a left walking stance while executing a left high punch.
